Jun 24, 2026"Holy cow, c'est vachement bien là! No, seriously, this is a fantastic restaurant with an amazing view, great food, and warm, personable service. We're here visiting friends in the area and they brought us here. Incroyable! First, of course, you go to a restaurant for the food and Les Pêcheurs doesn't disappoint. Full disclosure: I love sushi but generally hate cooked fish. But everything I tried wasn't just good, I actually had second and third tastes. And for unrepentant carnivores like me, the steak is amazing -- as good as anything I've had in Argentina or the US. And the desserts...if you like fresh fruit, have the "tiramisu" (with fresh red berries instead of coffee) but also try the chocolate lava cake with caramel ice cream. *melt* The ambiance is nice, open, clean, and unpretentious with huge windows showcasing the lake. Even nicer is the patio with a little jetty. You can see ducks and even a whole family of swans cruising along in the water with the far side of the lake in the background. The wait staff is amazing. The proprietor speaks EXCELLENT English as well as, bien sûr, French, German, and Russian...and that's just what I managed to overhear...! She was super kind to our two year old and we felt so comfortable. The wait staff seem to genuinely enjoy their work and are quite friendly and attentive. Seriously, if you're hungry and in the area, you gotta stop by!"
